The Hydroguard Multi-Media Pre-Filter is designed to tackle tough water conditions right at the point of entry. By utilizing a high-capacity, three-stage filtration process, this fiberglass system effectively prepares raw water by removing heavy sediments, harsh chemicals, and hard minerals.
Advanced 3-Step Filtration
Quartz Sand (The Strainer)
This stage traps mud, sand, and sediment to make water clear. It effectively removes suspended substances, sludge, micro-protozoa, rust, and solid impurities like colloids.
Activated Carbon (The Purifier)
The purifier absorbs bad smells, yellow tints, and chemicals. It removes disinfection by-products, humus, lead, residual chlorine, organic compounds, colour, odour, and turbidity. Furthermore, it has a unique function of removing lead and sterilizing bacteria. By compositing a scale inhibitor, it prevents the formation of hard scale, resulting in a good scale inhibition effect and a longer service life.
Resin (The Softener)
This dedicated softening stage removes lime and calcium to prevent white crust and scale buildup
